"Visit The Beauty of San Ildefonso"

San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur, is known for its unique vegetable ice cream, traditional products like basi (sugarcane wine) and cane vinegar, and a history that includes a name change to honor a Spanish King. The town's name was changed from "Bulak" to "San Ildefonso" in 1809 by a Filipino priest, Father Juan dela Rosa, who was also its first Filipino priest.

The San Ildefonso Church known as San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish Church in San Ildefonso, Ilocos Sur, is a testament to resilience and faith, with a modern facade built atop the remnants of an older structure that has stood since 1821. Its compelling story is one of a vision that was partially realized, now a blend of history and contemporary rebuilding, where the weathered side walls of the original church are still visible. This creates a unique and poignant experience for visitors who can witness firsthand the passage of time and the town's commitment to preserving its heritage, even as the church's original form is no longer fully intact.

And the airplane that came from the president of Indonesia, now had been abandoned, was supposed to be a café. The Mayor announced publicly in the news reports that they kept it in front of the San Ildefonso Municipality because it is unique and attracts people out of curiosity. The supposedly "café" is now just an ordinary plane that has been abandoned for decades.
