"Science and Creativity"

The National Science Month celebration in 2025 used the theme "Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation" to highlight how science and creativity are crucial for progress. Schools and organizations hosted events like contests and activities to encourage curiosity, innovation, and a love for discovery in students. 




The relationship between Science and Society the coming decades will be defined by accelerating scientific convergence, rapid technological diffusion, and a heightened need for ethical governance and public engagement to address complex global challenges. The dynamic, two-way influence—where science drives societal change and societal needs shape research priorities—will intensify across all sectors. 




The primary challenge will be ensuring that scientific and technological benefits are distributed equitably and managed ethically. The potential for exacerbating inequalities—between nations, communities, and individuals with differing access to technology—is significant. The opportunity lies in leveraging scientific and social science knowledge to co-produce solutions that are not just technically sound but also socially robust and aligned with shared human values, ultimately leading to a more prosperous, healthy, and sustainable world for all.

First Quarter Reflection

 During the first quarter, I have learned not only academic lessons but also important life skills. I discovered new concepts in subjects like Math, Science, and English. I also realized the value of teamwork, especially during group activities and projects, and how important it is to communicate well with others. One of the biggest challenges I faced was adjusting to the workload and balancing my school responsibilities with other activities. At times, I struggled with procrastination and found it difficult to stay focused, especially when deadlines were close. There were also lessons that I found difficult to understand at first, which made me feel frustrated. To overcome these challenges, I started creating a schedule to manage my time better.
