First Quarter Reflection

During the first quarter, I have learned not only academic lessons but also important life skills. I discovered new concepts in subjects like Math, Science, and English. I also realized the value of teamwork, especially during group activities and projects, and how important it is to communicate well with others. One of the biggest challenges I faced was adjusting to the workload and balancing my school responsibilities with other activities. At times, I struggled with procrastination and found it difficult to stay focused, especially when deadlines were close. There were also lessons that I found difficult to understand at first, which made me feel frustrated. To overcome these challenges, I started creating a schedule to manage my time better. I made a habit of reviewing lessons in advance and asking questions when I didn’t understand something. I also sought help from classmates and teachers when needed, and that really helped me improve. I learned that it’s okay to ask for sup...

"Healthy Lifestyle"

National Nutrition Month is an annual campaign held in March that promotes healthy eating and informed food choices. It's a time to focus on the importance of  nutrition and healthy lifestyles. The campaign, organized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, encourages people to make balanced meals, develop positive nutrition habits, and improve access to nutrition food.               From the nutri-jingle to food fest, I've experienced a lot of things. The nutri-jingle, they've created a song that is connected to nutrition month. They wore costumes and made a dance and an action to perform the jingle and make it less plain, which had led them to being the champion for the nutri-jingle. It also created a bond between two sections. And from the food fest, this ...

"A Letter to the President"

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. MalacaƱang Palace Manila, Philippines Dear President Marcos, I am writing to you as a concerned citizen who cares deeply about the future of our country. I appreciate some of the efforts you have made to improve the economy and infrastructure, but I also feel a growing concern about the issues that many Filipinos continue to face every day. Many people are still struggling with poverty, high prices, low wages, and a lack of access to quality education and healthcare. These problems affect millions, especially those in the provinces and marginalized communities. I hope your administration will focus more on these urgent needs and listen to the voices of ordinary Filipinos. Please lead with compassion, honesty, and a true commitment to public service. We want a government that puts people first and a leader who truly understands and feels the struggles of the nation. We are counting on you to make real change — not just promises. May you be guided ...

"Plant that Grows"

Image
I see myself as a plant. Different plant, like an oak tree, because t represents strength and stability. Daisy because it represents peacefulness and positive vibes. I picked plant because it grows, and as it grows, it become more strong.           My name is Zoe Jane Pardo. Growing up, I've always been an achiever. Which means, I went through rough times during my childhood. But with all the experiences, I managed to gain strength and stability. Just like an oak tree. When a strong wind hits an oak tree, it will remain standing on its ground because of the strength that it developed from the other disaster that passed.           I also see myself as a daisy because I will forever choose peacefulness and positive vibes over negativity. Although there comes a time that I show my frustration, I will never choose violence.           It requires challenges to be as strong and stable...
